Today Gail, Jimmy, Mike, and I explored the trails at the Mercer Slough Nature Park. The scenery was lovely as usual. While checking out animal scents Lily somehow slipped into a deep muddy pond and had to dog-paddle until I was able to pull her out by the leash. Fortunately She quickly resumed her good humor and enjoyed the rest of the hike until her much-needed bath time on returning home. While Mike and Jimmy entertained Lily, Gail and I enjoyed our quick tour of the Winters House built in the late 1920's. Soon afterwards a passing jogger volunteered to take our group's picture

. It was a very nice day.
